North Wales Crusaders have announced they have retained the vast majority of the squad who ended the 2012 Season for an assault on the Championship One title next year.

Key figures such as Captain Andy Mosedale, loose forward Jono Smith, Centre Christiaan Roets and last year’s top try scorer Rob Massam have committed their futures to the club with a view to tasting success next year.

The retained players so far are Toby Adamson, Owain Brown, Lee Hudson, Tommy Johnson, Rob Massam, Andrew Mousdale, Andrew Oakden, Christiaan Roets, Jono Smith, Simon Stephens, Jonny Walker, Lewys Weaver, Kriss Wilkes, Leon Brennan, Jamie Durbin, Billy Sheen, Owain Griffiths.

We’re also delighted to announce that Dave McConnell and Andy Gorski have made their move to North Wales Crusaders permanent.

Captain Andy Moulsdale said “I’m made up with the squad for next year, we’ve got a great bunch of lads and the camaraderie is great. Plus with the new signings over the past week, we’ve strengthened really well and we’ve got to be a strong contender”

Head Coach Clive Griffiths said “These boys were fantastic this season and rightly given the opportunity to help us kick on next year. We’re still working on sowing a few more up, plus the new signings we’ve made so far, so things are looking in really good shape”.

Have a look at S Tomkins at Wigan he had a fair game against us last year and Mr Harris rates him quite highly to! Though I do think he could do with putting on a couple of pounds extra in weight ;-) then he could be a decent signing if we could get him lol. Reply
